ParentPay
Please remember to make bookings in advance for your children’s lunches, if bookings are not made by 8.00am, children will be offered a meal, if they have not brought a packed lunch. It is important to book in advance so the kitchen has enough stock for each day.
Attendance
Please do phone or message via EduSpot, if your child will be absent from school. The school office hours are 8.35am to 3.10pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.35am to 12.30 on a Friday. Mrs McAskill will send a group call message if a child is absent and we have not heard why.
Showbie
Showbie is a secure, online learning platform where teachers and students can collaborate, celebrate success, empower learners, share content, and use educational apps to supplement their learning from their class teacher. Please remember to create an account and request to join the class noticeboards. Showbie class codes can be found on the Curriculum Overview which was sent to all parents to weeks ago. Curriculum overviews are also available to view on Showbie.
P5-7 Cross Country
LiveBorders have organised for some of the P5-7 to take part in cross country, which was due to take place in Eyemouth Primary School on Thursday 5th February from 10am until 12 noon. Please note this date has now changed due to weather and slippery surfaces. It has now been rescheduled for Thursday 26th February. If your child has chosen to take part, you will have received a letter from school already. Transport will be provided, and children will be back in school for lunchtime. Children should come dressed in warm outdoor P.E. clothes with a water bottle and snack. Permission forms are to be completed on Parents Portal.
Library Van
The SBC Library Van will be visiting on Wednesday 11th February. Please bring in any books that need to be returned.
## February Holiday and In-Service day
School will be closed to pupils from Monday 16th February to Friday 20th February 2026. Monday 23rd February School is closed to pupils for a staff In-Service day.
Generation Science
On Wednesday 25th February we are welcoming back Generation Science to school. This year all of P5 – P7 will be taking part in a workshop called “Electric Explorers” – We will learn to generate green electricity from our own movement, then race mini-robotic creatures using our own power! Many thanks to our PFA for funding this fantastic event for our second level learners.
P1-7 School Reports
This session school reports will be issued on Friday 27th March.
PFA Meeting
The next PFA meeting will be on Tuesday 10th February in school at 6pm. All welcome.
Careers Fair
Eyemouth High School are holding a Careers Fair on Thursday 5th March, between 4-7pm. The fair is open to all S1 to S6 pupils, there will be a broad range of businesses, education establishments and charities attending.
